The first service I led at Unity Church of Melbourne in Florida, Janine Chimera provided the special music. From the moment she opened her mouth, her voice had such heart, such authenticity. Nothing pushed or contrived, just pure love.
Wandering the fellowship hall after the service I was surprised not to see a table filled with her CDs, so I asked if she had any recordings for sale.
Her answer was priceless: “They’re in the trunk of my car.”
It felt like a illicit deal going down outside the church. She popped the trunk, revealing boxes and boxes of CDs. Cash and discs exchanged hands, and a decades-long friendship was born.
Today, I share with you one of her classics: Living My Truth.
Janine surely does want to help the world to heal – by living her truth. Not telling anyone else what their truth is, or what they need to do. Simply focused on her path. Her truth.
Let me know what you think!
